If you are wanting to branch out with your eyeshadow looks, but not go too crazy this is the place for you. I absolutely fell in love with subtle orange eyeshadow.
I always thought orange eyeshadow were only for blue eyes (if you have blue eyes then use an orange eyeshadow to make them POP), but I quickly learned that orange eyeshadow brings out the warmth in brown eyes.
I love how you can create your own customized eyeshadow palettes with this makeup line. I created my own eyeshadow palette for this look, which you can get from the link below.
I used a matte orange eyeshadow for my base which is most of the look. You could use this on its own and add some eyeliner. But I chose to add a pop of orange glitter in the center. I love how the glitter comes in an eyeshadow tin, so its super easy to store with all the other eyeshadows and easy to use. Then I added an iridescent greenish eyeshadow in the inner corner of my eyes. This added a luminous look to my eyes and more visual interest.
These are the tools
I used and highly recommend. I love that they are double ended, so it's like getting two brushes in one.
I used the "eyeshadow brush" for the matte orange color all over the lid. For the glitter and green shimmer color you can either use your
finger or the "multitasker brush"; however if you are interested in how I got that nude lip then you will need the multitasker brush.
For my eyeliner and brows I used the "Line Brush". I 100% recommend this brush. It did ALL the hard work for me and made it super easy to get straight lines.
Lastly, I KNOW you are wondering about my lashes. These are the "So Wispy" from Kiss. I am not a huge fan of strip eyelashes, but these are amazing. Probably the only ones I will ever wear. They remind me of eyelash extensions without the big commitment and price tag.
Thanks so much for reading. I hope the was helpful❤
XOXO,
Layla
